GABARDINE DRESS WITH ZIGZAG STITCH DETAILING

A dress with French sleeves made from wool gabardine, the signature material of Y's. The fabric has been lightly wrinkled and textured in the finishing process to give it a more natural texture reminiscent of raw wool fleece. The other fabric used is linen, which is exceptionally soft and has a moderate wrinkle thanks to the natural dyeing method used - the same technique used to dye Japanese tenugui (hand towels) and furoshiki (wrapping cloths). Featuring zigzag stitch detailing on the back. The sleeves can be worn as is, or rolled up and held in place with buttons.
