S'YTE x KAZUO UMEZZ Collaborate Collection
This is the second collaboration with Kazuo Umezu, a master of the Japanese manga world who is called the "God of Horror Manga" for his one-of-a-kind style and stories.

This hoodie uses a unique paint texture to reproduce an illustration of the heroine, Maizuru, in rough bits on the display of "Monroe," a single industrial robot that appears in the film.
The black body and grayish tone coloring are designed to achieve a good balance between a moderate assertiveness and a comfortable fit.
hood The collaboration logo is printed on the "Shingo" logo, which was inspired by a bit font-style illustration depicting the world as seen from Shingo's point of view in the film.
On the left sleeve, My Name is Shingo is printed in the same bit-font style graphic, and the world view of the work is incorporated into the graphic design.

The body of the signature hoodie is designed with set-in sleeves, a more dropped-shoulder style, and a balance between a voluminous sleeve width and a restrained length.
The sizing is based on feeling rather than body shape, with three sizes available to expand the range of dressing styles.
Size S fits well on most women and some men.
Size M is slightly oversized for women and a moderately loose fit for men that allows for a loose outer garment to be worn just right.

The love between Satoru and Maizuru was torn apart by adults. Shingo's consciousness expands infinitely with the goal of conveying this unchanging love to each other,

This work drawn in the 80's seems as if Mr. Umezu unconsciously foresaw and expressed the current new age feeling of the expanding computer network.
It is a work that deserves to be appreciated anew for its masterful, meticulously rendered, painterly style and its warning against the computer society.

Kazuo Umezu (Manga Artist, Artist)

Born in 1936 in Koyasan, Wakayama Prefecture and raised in Nara Prefecture.
He began drawing manga in the fourth grade of elementary school, and made his debut in his third year of high school with the publication of "Another World" and "Siblings in the Forest" in book form by Tomobook. He has been called the "God of Horror Manga" for his hit works such as "Hebi Shoujo" and "Nekome Koso". Drifting Classroom" won the Shogakukan Manga Award.
On the other hand, "Makoto-chan" also demonstrated his talent for gag comedy. His gag, "Gwashi," became a social phenomenon. In addition, he has produced many other hit works, including "Orochi," "Baptism," "My Name is Shingo," "God's Left Hand, Devil's Right Hand," "14 Years Old," and many others.
He also holds many other titles, including TV personality, singer, and film director, and is active in a variety of genres.

In 2018, he won the "Heritage Award" at the Angoulême International Cartoon Festival in France for "I am Shingo".
In the same year, he also received the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award.
In 2022, he released his first new work in 27 years, ZOKU-SHINGO.
In 2023, received the "Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award, Special Prize."
