Details

An oversized MA-1 bomber jacket made from water-repellent nylon.
The distinctive mini pouch is attached to the jacket using snap button closures. It can be worn on the left chest or sleeve, and has two zippered pockets that are large enough to fit most wallets and smartphones.
The ultra big silhouette MA-1 jacket was revived by Raf Simmons at Prada. Thanks to his influence, the MA-1 was sublimated from the realm of Top Gun-era Tom Cruise "alpha" style into the world of high fashion. For this S'YTE interpretation of the MA-1, both the length and width of the body have been extended to create an extra oversized silhouette. Furthermore, the overall proportions of the jacket have been finely-tuned.
This piece is a decidedly Japanese "mode" take on the MA-1, in which size and balance take the forefront. One of S'YTE's finest offerings in terms of genderless fashion.
