This shirt is inspired by a picture from a series of photographs taken for the Y's for Men AW 1993/94 catalogue. It depicts six boys playfully running towards the camera with their arms linked, wearing shirts that are far too big for them. Italian photographer Ferdinando Scianna directed the shoot, which was set in the Connemara Mountains in Ireland. This shirt is made from Japanese "typewriter cottton," which has a vintage-like feel. The subtly gathered yoke, double stitching and slightly larger than usual buttons help to create a modern, "mode" inspired look. This is a beautifully-designed shirt with a bold sense of size that can be worn as inner- or outerwear.
