VEGETABLE TANNED AND WASHED SHEEP LEATHER DOUBLE RIDERS JACKET

This piece is made from vegetable tanned and washed sheep leather. Characterized by its lightness and softness, sheep leather is recommended for people who do not like the heaviness of other types of leather. Wearing this piece feels similar to wearing a lightweight fabric jacket.

Sheepskin is soft and feels almost moist to the touch. As you wear this piece, the leather will wrinkle charmingly in a relatively short period of time. The lining has been carefully designed to give just the right amount of structure to the jacket; it feels neither too stiff nor too flimsy.

The front is equipped with a distinctive two-way diagonal zip closure. Instead of a yoke, the back features a combination of vertical stitches running from the shoulders to the waist which make your upper half appear longer.

The pocket zippers have ball and chain-style fasteners. All of the zips are are engraved with "UNIVERSAL," and feel decidedly casual. Until recently, the Universal Fastener Company was the oldest zip manufacturer in the United States. After a history of roughly 120 years, it was eventually inherited by YKK Group in Japan. Recently, their zippers have been making a comeback, noted for how they can add a vintage flair to any piece.

The sleeve width is just wide enough to acommodate for inner wear such as hoodies.
This piece is so soft and comfortable that it can be worn on an everyday basis. The fit is neither too tight nor too oversized, an ideal which has become widespread in Japan in recent years.
