PE/STRETCH TWILL ARMY TECHNO PANTS

Technical army pants made from a sportswear-like material and featuring cord detailing. The ultimate military/"mode" pants.
These pants draw inspiration from the M-65 field pants, which were once worn by the US army. Their design was adapted in the UK and underwent modifications including the addition of pockets and straps, resulting in what came to be known as "techno pants." We have reimagined the M-65 field pants further by creating a wide-leg silhouette that feels perfectly Yohji Yamamoto.
The countless hanging ties and wide silhouette are very characteristic. The waist and hem can be adjusted with drawstring and the silhouette can be adjusted. The wide silhouette, the countless strings hanging down and fluttering in the wind are eye-catching and very characteristic.

The hanging straps were originally added as a life-saving feature. The idea was that they could be tied around the thigh to stop bleeding in the event that the wearer suffered an injury. Techno pants became popular in the 90s as a fashionable item, but are hard to come across now.
Brimming with details, these pants have a hybrid design that seamlessly blends elements of "mode" and military styles.
These pants are from a series of garments called S'YTE AT WORK, which aim to combine elements of work/military-wear with the traditions of the now discontinued Y's for Men Red Label.

About the fabric: The polyester stretch twill feels smooth in a natural way, and is reminiscent of an organic material. This is thanks to the unique way that it is processed. It is medium thickness and feels relatively firm, yet drapes beautifully.
