The combination of wool and polyester gives this characterized checked fabric a moderately shiny, light, and supple texture. By combining a high blend of polyester, the thermoplasticity and pleat shape stability that is characterized of polyester is maintained, so the pleats do not often disappear in normal wear. Please note that the pleats will come off if exposed to heat from a dryer or iron. The pleats are cut and sewn to give the garment a natural loose, ragged, but elegant look. Please understand that the condition of the frayed part and the fraying may vary from piece to piece, and that the fraying will gradually occur.
The pleated design on the checked fabric gives it a classic look, yet the regularity of the checks and pleats is counteracted by the piece's defiance and will.
