Ground Y Autumn/Winter 2023-24 Pre-Fall Collection

Ground Y × Keiichi Tanaami Collaboration
This piece was created in collaboration with Keiichi Tanaami, an artist who has been active at the forefront of the Japanese pop art scene since the 1960s.
This long sleeve T-shit is printed with Keiichi Tanaami's piece titled "_Love". The left side has a twisted detail, creating an asymmetric silhouette.

_Love
This piece was used on the cover of the magazine “Shosetsu Gendai” in 1969. In the same year, under the title of Image Director, Tanaami published the legendary book Illustrated Book of Imaginary Tomorrow (虚像未来図鑑), a compilation of the underground art scene in Tokyo in the 1960s. It was an experimental work, using every conceivable technique of graphic design to edit together the virtual images emitted by the mass media with the myriad of images wriggling about inside Tanaami's brain.

Customers who purchase pieces from this collaboration will receive a Ground Y x Keiichi Tanaami graphic card on a first-come, first-served basis.
