Yohji Yamamoto Inc. will open its new boutique "Yohji Yamamoto New York Wooster" on Friday September 1st 2023 on Wooster Street in the Soho district of New York City.

Located at 52 Wooster Street, on the corner of Wooster Street and Broome Street, the new concept store is a 150 m2 (1600 ft²) space with a 25 m (80 ft) long wide window. Opening with Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME collections, the boutique will showcase the company's various brands including Y's and LIMI feu, as a new project to express the universe of Yohji Yamamoto.

The new concept boutique will feature LED panels installed throughout the space to project Yohji Yamamoto's world view as an artistic wallpaper. Starting with a monochrome work of Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME A/W 2023-24 collections by TAKAY, a photographer who has been capturing the world of Yohji Yamamoto in recent years, that will be shown at the opening.
Additionally, the new store will be equipped with beacons and will be linked to the online boutique THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO to provide an omni-channel functionality.

The Yohji Yamamoto New York Wooster store will serve as an opportunity for future business expansion in the U.S. and will have the largest offer of the collection in the country.

Following the Paris Cambon store, which was renovated and reopened in January 2023, and the London Savile Row store, which was relocated and reopened in March 2023, the New York Wooster store is an invitation to experience the new Yohji Yamamoto world in the US.
