S’YTE × GDC Collaborate Collection

Centered on the theme of “Anti-Mode,” the second collaboration between S’YTE, which inherits Yohji Yamamoto Inc.’s signature cutting and silhouettes, and GDC, the street brand led by stylist, photographer, and creative director Takashi Kumagai, will be released on Thursday, February 19.

The collection will be available at THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO Official Online Store, S’YTE Shibuya PARCO, WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO, Ground Y Nagoya PARCO, and Ground Y + S’YTE Sapporo PARCO.

For this collaboration, all items feature the S’YTE × GDC logo printed in silver foil, along with the phrase “A rolling stone gathers no moss,” a line that symbolizes GDC’s philosophy. The print is defined by its strong presence and refined, understated sheen. As the garments are worn over time, the foil gradually cracks and peels, evoking a sense of transience and decadent beauty. Additionally, every item is accented with a gray name tag bearing the same phrase, “A rolling stone gathers no moss.” By deliberately placing what is usually an unseen label in a visible position, the design embodies a spirit of rebellion.

This special collection represents the intersection of GDC’s street culture ethos and S’YTE’s unwavering commitment to “Anti-Mode.”

WEPON CLOTH LOGO PRINTED BOMBER JACKET

A well-balanced bomber jacket designed for unisex wear. The double-zip closure allows adjustable styling, enabling varied expressions depending on the inner layers. The slightly fitted construction pairs well with voluminous bottoms, while the fabric offers year-round versatility with a balance of firmness and lightness.

COTTON DRILL LOGO PRINTED ARMY TECHNO PANTS

Wide-form pants reconstructed from the foundations of U.S. military M-65 trousers and U.K.-originated techno pants, combining ruggedness with refined beauty. The waist and hem are adjustable with drawcords. Crafted from heavyweight cotton drill fabric, the garment is product-washed to achieve a soft texture and rich surface expression. The print follows the series’ signature lacquer-inspired finish, retaining hand-crafted tonal variations and a sense of fading for an artisanal feel.

WEPON CLOTH LOGO PRINTED 5 BUTTON TAILORED JACKET

A five-button tailored jacket made from weapon cloth, a fabric originating from military wear that combines durability with an elegant luster. The first button is positioned on the lapel fold, creating a reinterpretation of the traditional “dan-gaeshi” (rolled lapel) design, where the button is concealed when folded back. The collar can also be worn upright like a stand collar, allowing for styling with a dignified, military-inspired presence.

WEPON CLOTH LOGO PRINTED HAKAMA BALLOON PANTS

2-way pants made from a tough fabric that softens and molds to the body with continued wear, developing the distinctive character unique to cotton materials. Offering comfort and practicality for everyday use, the design allows the hem drawcords to be adjusted so that the front and back pleats spread toward the hem. This creates two distinct silhouettes: a hakama-inspired A-line form and a bold balloon silhouette.
