Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME × WESCO

Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME will release a collaboration boot collection with WESCO, one of America’s most renowned work boot brands, from Friday, October 9 at Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME directly operated stores nationwide and the official online store THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO.

WESCO is a boot manufacturer based in Oregon, USA. Since its founding in 1918, the brand has continued to craft boots by skilled artisans and has earned the nickname “King of Boots.”

For the Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME × WESCO collaboration, WESCO’s iconic lace-up work boot “JOBMASTER” and pull-on boot “THE BOSS” have been reimagined with special materials, colorways, and detailing.

JOBMASTER

“JOBMASTER” is WESCO’s iconic lace-up work boot. The collaboration introduces two models: the first-ever WESCO model to feature white leather, and a model finished in slate.

The white model is a two-tone design combining cow leather in white with horsehide in black, a material often reserved for WESCO’s rare models. A lace-in zipper is added to the lacing area for easy on and off. All components, including the eyelets, shoelaces, welt, and stitching, are unified in white.

Like the white model, the slate version features a two-tone combination of slate cow leather and black horsehide. All components, from the upper, eyelets, and shoelaces to the lace-in zipper, are finished in slate, creating a striking contrast with the black elements. The lace-in zipper can be removed from both models, allowing them to be worn with the standard lacing.

The Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME and WESCO logos are embossed on the sides of the shafts.

THE BOSS

“THE BOSS” is WESCO’s iconic pull-on boot. The collaboration features a two-tone colorway combining black roughout leather with white cow leather.

Black roughout leather is used for the vamp, counter, instep strap, and backstay, while white cow leather is applied to the shaft, gusset, and top strap. The combination of contrasting materials and colors gives the engineer boot a substantial, unmistakably WESCO character.

The strap buckles feature vintage-inspired nickel-plated rollers. The boots are finished with a boss toe, single midsole, Vibram® #100 outsole, a 10-inch shaft height, and a D width.
