The appliquéd embroidery of rags is an eye-catching feature of cotton Twill 's long shirts.
The unique nuance of rags, which are created by manually joining and layering scraps of various fabrics, is expressed in the combination of materials and patterns, and in the appliqué created by irregular stitchwork.
The colors of the fabric and stitching used for the appliqué were carefully selected to match each of the white and black color variations.
