This tasteful nep herringbone fabric has a rich, uneven look, using wool slub, shetland, and lamb's wool for the warp and nep yarn, silk ring, and lamb's wool for the weft. The Shetland used in the warp has a voluminous feel due to English carding, while the lamb's wool is softer than the weft because it is a knit yarn, giving the fabric a unique feel that exquisitely matches the individual characteristics of each yarn.
