Ground Y, a brand that channels the vision of Yohji Yamamoto Inc., explores new possibilities in fashion through a genderless and ageless perspective, blending diverse elements aligned with its concept.
The brand will launch a collaboration with GLOOMY the Naughty Grizzly, with an exclusive pre-release beginning Friday, April 17 at Ground Y Laforet Harajuku.
Ahead of the launch, the collection will be exhibited in-store from Friday, April 10, alongside a limited pre-order offering.
The full collection will be available at all Ground Y directly operated stores from Wednesday, April 29.
On the official web store “THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO,” sales will begin at 12:00 PM on April 29.

The collection reinterprets GLOOMY’s distinctive character through the lens of Ground Y. Highlights include a studded hoodie adorned with small Gloomy motifs, and graphic T-shirts that incorporate Ground Y’s design elements into newly developed artwork, offering a playful yet refined style.
Accessories range from sculptural rings and earrings featuring studded GLOOMY motifs to die-cut leather coin cases, spanning from easy-to-wear everyday items to bold, statement pieces with a strong identity.
Reconstructing GLOOMY’s edgy appeal through its own design language, Ground Y presents a fresh fusion of fashion and pop culture.
