Y’s SS26 MAX VADUKUL, TOKYO

Y’s has unveiled its latest photo series for the 2026 Spring/Summer collection, “TOKYO: HELD MOVEMENT,” photographed in Tokyo by renowned photographer Max Vadukul.

Through Vadukul’s lens, people and the street are portrayed in a way that embodies the spirit of Y’s. In his signature black-and-white imagery, Y’s garments captured on the streets of Tokyo radiate a powerful presence, holding energy within stillness.

“HELD MOVEMENT” is not about choreography, but about control and tension. It captures the moment when the body is forced into stillness, yet the will continues to live on. In each frame, the spirit of Y’s quietly breathes.

What is revealed is a quiet strength that exists between breath and release — a moment of life sustained under pressure.
That tension — that suspension — is the essence.
