Y’s for men will release the OCONT work boot, created in collaboration with iconic American heritage bootmaker Danner, on Wednesday, July 8 at Y’s for men stores nationwide and the official online store THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO.

Founded in 1932, Danner is one of America’s most established boot brands, renowned for meticulously handcrafted footwear made using carefully selected premium materials.

Marking the third season of collaboration with Danner, this latest release introduces the OCONT work boot.

The upper is crafted from soft oil-shrunk leather, distinguished by its natural grain texture and supple finish. Combining Danner’s signature durability with everyday comfort, the boot features a stitch-down construction known for its lightweight flexibility, paired with the Danner sole, which delivers both excellent grip and cushioning.

Designed with a replaceable sole structure, the boots are built for long-term wear, allowing the leather to develop greater character over time while gradually molding to the wearer’s foot. Minimal in design yet rich in material expression and functionality, the silhouette integrates seamlessly into the Y’s for men wardrobe and adapts effortlessly across seasons and styling preferences.
