写真家・TAKAY氏が尊敬する?本?デザイナー、ヨウジヤマモトの創造?とそれを纏った様々な被写体が克明に写し出された写真集。
被写体は、故・蜷川幸雄、落合陽?、森??道、宮沢りえ、リリー・フランキー、Char、鮎川誠（順不同・敬称略）など、?化?から俳優、ミュージシャンまで多岐にわたり、作品からは彼が過ごした幼少期や昭和の時代の?本をどこか連想すると同時に、ヨウジヤマモトのアバンギャルドなスタイルと?本特有の強い感受性と優雅さが感じられる。
全点モノクロで撮影された本作では、ヨウジヤマモトを象徴する“?”と“シルエット”の美しい境界が深く印象付けられ、『Fluence』というタイトルには、TAKAY氏がずっと持ち続けている「服をスタイリングすることで?が被写体と化す感覚」が込められている。
