Blending the glamorous, charming appeal of BETTY BOOP™︎, an iconic figure of American culture, with Y’s distinctive masculine sensibility, these T-shirts are pieces that can also be appreciated as works of art.

About BETTY BOOP™ and Fleischer Studios
Betty Boop™ was created by Max Fleischer for Talkartoons, a series of early sound-on-film animated shorts produced for Paramount Studios. In the series’ first installment, Dizzy Dishes (1930), an early, unnamed version of Betty appeared alongside Bimbo, a dog-like character, as a stage performer singing and dancing to entertain the many animal characters depicted in the film.
Inspired by the energy, style, and sounds of the flappers of the 1920s—the modern women who embodied the spirit of the Roaring Twenties—and the popular entertainers of the era, Betty quickly evolved into a human character and became the world’s only female animated film star at the time. Voiced by Mae Questel, Betty appeared in more than 100 animated productions, 90 of which were part of the official Betty Boop™ series, which concluded in 1939. She has since appeared in numerous hit films, television specials, and commercials, and became the first cartoon character to be featured in Biography, the documentary series produced by the American television network A&E.
Today, Fleischer Studios continues to develop the iconic Betty Boop™ into a global licensing and entertainment phenomenon, working with a team of creative professionals and Global Icons, a global licensing agency. The character continues to captivate millions of fans and collectors around the world. For more information, visit the official websites: fleischerstudios.com / bettyboop.com.
