Y’s × xVESSEL 2026 S/S COLLECTION

Y’s will release the third collaboration with xVESSEL on Friday, March 20, 2026, available at all Y’s stores in Japan and the official online boutique. The collection features two sneaker styles.

The campaign visual features Van Ness Wu, the creator of xVESSEL, embodying the collection’s distinctive aesthetic while wearing the collaboration pieces.

The platform sneaker reinterprets xVESSEL’s iconic “G.O.P LOWS” model through the lens of Y’s. It is defined by a layered sole that appears as if countless sole components have been dismantled and reconstructed, paired with a raw-cut canvas upper. Replacing traditional shoelaces, the design incorporates the Fitgo dial lacing system, merging functionality with technical innovation.

The Fire Sneaker is a low-top model characterized by a design that appears as if melted by flames, accented with bold raw edges. Distressed soles, flame embroidery along both sides, a Y’s logo print, deliberate damage detailing, and dual black-and-white shoelaces highlight the meticulous attention to detail.

Both styles are equipped with highly cushioned insoles, ensuring a comfortable fit.

Founded in 2017, xVESSEL is a sneaker brand built around the concept of deconstruction. Its designs are characterized by layered soles, raw-cut canvas, overlapping stitches, and expressions of the “beauty of incompletion.”

The name reflects two symbolic elements: “x,” representing bold exploration, and “VESSEL,” evoking both a ship and blood vessels—signifying a spirit of venturing into the unknown while remaining intrinsically connected to life’s flow. By combining dial-lacing systems, traditional vulcanized construction, and natural cork midsoles, xVESSEL creates sneakers that exist at the intersection of street culture and avant-garde fashion.
