Yohji Yamamoto will release "Yohji Yamamoto ‘Perspective Libre.’"
"Yohji Yamamoto ‘Perspective Libre’" is a photo book created in collaboration with the creative duo M/M (Paris), comprising Mathias Augustyniak and Michaël Amzalag. The project features photography by Julien Martinez Leclerc and styling by Joe McKenna. Set against a backdrop of imagined furniture objects conceived by M/M (Paris), the book further develops the Cubist compositions that inspired Yohji Yamamoto’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collection. It presents these concepts through a prism of “Perspective Libre,” or a free perspective.
The relationship between Yohji Yamamoto and M/M (Paris) dates back 30 years. Founded in Paris in 1992, M/M (Paris)’s very first project in fashion was designing the invitation for the opening of Yohji Yamamoto’s store. “We were fortunate to begin our journey in the fashion world with Yohji Yamamoto. We are deeply grateful to once again bring this unique and inspiring collaboration to audiences,” commented M/M (Paris).
