S’YTE×GDC Collaborate Collection

First-Ever Collaboration Item with GDC to Launch

Starting Saturday, July 12, S’YTE will release its first-ever collaborative collection with GDC—a streetwear brand directed by renowned stylist, photographer, and creative director Takashi Kumagai. Embracing the theme of "Anti-Mode," the collection fuses Yohji Yamamoto’s signature cutting and silhouette techniques with GDC’s street sensibility.

This collaboration features key pieces from the S’YTE 2025 Spring/Summer Collection, including a faded floral patterned set-up, a vintage-finished linen China jacket and pants woven from yarn-dyed fabric, and a soft-textured short-sleeve cotton shirt. Each item is embroidered with the GDC logo to commemorate the partnership. Also included is a special T-shirt printed with a unique collage artwork by celebrated art director and painter Jun Tsunoda.

This set-up features delicate jacquard fabric with a blurred floral motif—emblematic of the S’YTE 2025SS collection. The sharp narrow-lapel long tailored jacket and tapered pants boast jacquard’s characteristic texture and shadowing, giving a quiet, elegant contrast between classical and contemporary styles.

The jacket includes three large embroidered octagram stars on the back and a letter graphic embroidered on the right shoulder, symbolizing the collaboration with GDC.

The pants mirror the design, with an octagram above the right back pocket and a letter graphic above the left pocket for a cohesive look.

Crafted from yarn-dyed linen chino cloth, both the China jacket and pants are washed once to give a vintage finish. The pants feature front and side tucks for a relaxed, tapered silhouette.

The jacket showcases three large octagram star embroideries on the back and a letter graphic on the right shoulder.

The pants feature the same embroidery above the slit pockets.
