Details

A short, collarless jacket made of wool gabardine, the signature material of Y's. The fabric has been gently wrinkled and textured in the finishing process to give it a more natural texture reminiscent of raw wool fleece. The other fabric used is a linen, which is remarkably soft and has a moderate wrinkle thanks to the natural dyeing method that is used, which is the same technique used to dye Japanese furoshiki (wrapping cloth) and tenugi (hand towels). This tidy and sophisticated jacket pairs well with dresses or high-waisted bottoms.
