Details

A two-button jacket made of wool gabardine, the signature material of Y's. The fabric has been gently wrinkled and textured in the finishing process to give it a more natural texture reminiscent of raw wool fleece. The other fabric used is a linen, which is remarkably soft and has a moderate wrinkle thanks to the natural dyeing method that is used, which is the same technique used to dye Japanese furoshiki (wrapping cloth) and tenugi (hand towels). This piece has a clean and simple silhouette; the waist is moderately cinched, so it goes well with voluminous wide pants and long skirts. It can be paired with our skirt or pants made from the same wool/linen combination to create a matching set suitable for formal occasions.
