Details

A slip dress made from wool gabardine, the signature material of Y's. The fabric has been lightly wrinkled and textured in the finishing process to give it a more natural texture reminiscent of raw wool fleece. The other fabric used is linen, which is exceptionally soft and has a moderate wrinkle thanks to the natural dyeing method used - which is the same technique used to dye Japanese tenugui (hand towels) and furoshiki (wrapping cloths). The shoulder straps can be adjusted, making it possible to wear even wide-sleeved shirts underneath the dress. This piece can be dressed up for more formal occasions; we suggest pairing it with one of our jackets made from the same material.
