BESTIAIRE PIECE UNIQUE KAYO NAKAMURA by Y's × Anne-Valerie Dupond
KAYO NAKAMURA by Y's × Anne-Valerie Dupond capsule collection. Anne-Valerie Dupond's sculpture series, named the medieval animal magazine "Bestiaire", which collects the parables and ethics of real and fictional animals. A vulture named Arsene. KAYO NAKAMURA by Y's was interested in materials, leftovers left in Y's atelier, past prototypes, samples, etc. It can be said that they are the remains of past creations, where there is no place to go, but on the other hand, they are pieces of manufacturing that are full of thought, and can be said to be the only material with a certain attachment. We develop a theme of "regeneration" that collects them, rebuilds them, and brings them back to life. Various textiles, stole, socks and dyed buttons that Y's have made for many seasons. The materials collected across the season collection are full of colors and materials that only Y's can produce, and there is an accumulation of handwork by various people. KAYO NAKAMURA by Y's combines the material created by Anne-Valery DuPont with the material, and it is a capsule collection created by the catch ball of both sides. After the work is completed, this is a standing textile sculpture in which Anne gives each one a name. Handmade by Anne-Valery DuPont, Pies Unic (single item).
