This casquette-style hat has a balloon-like silhouette. It is made from brown nep tweed woven from yarn in different colors. It can add a strong vintage nuance to any look.
The casquette became popular in Europe and the US around the turn of the 20th century. In the 1910s and 1920s, it became known as a workwear hat, but nowadays it is mainly worn by hunters. In the US it goes by the name "newsboy cap," as it was commonly worn by newspaper sellers.
