“HARUMI YAMAGUCHI”
As an illustrator who has been active in the world of commercial art for about 40 years, Harumi Yamaguchi is creating innovative works for magazines, theaters, cosmetics, and other industries. Her illustrations of women in the 1970s were used in commercial posters for department stores. and fashion buildings and her influence has been so great that the term "Harumi Gals" was born. Harumi Yamaguchi was the first artist to be selected for the "ART MEATS LIFE" theme for the renewal of commercial facilities on March 3, 2011, as part of a building-wide art project. The collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto is still present as one of her recent works.
