Sexy hips peeking out from a race queen's costume.
The beautiful back shot of Harumi Yamaguchi, the ultimate sexy girl, embodies the Japanese cultural city pop that has now become an international trend.
The collaboration logo, which combines random motifs like patchwork, is placed on the sleeve of this highly finished piece.
Harumi Yamaguchi began drawing with an airbrush around 1972, and her work was published on posters and other media.
Her super-realistic illustrations of Western-style women were also known as "Harumi Gals".
This is a rare collaboration from the tie-up period with PLAYBOY magazine, which was surprisingly never made official despite the affinity with the fashion department stores at the time.

"PLAYBOY"
Founded in Chicago in 1953, PLAYBOY was a leading US culture magazine whose covers featured beauties of the era and showcased the work of a diverse set of artists, writers, and photographers, and its print edition ended in spring 2020. Today, the reimagined brand is known around the world as "Playboy," a lifestyle brand whose Rabbit Head Logo is known around the world.

“HARUMI YAMAGUCHI”
As an illustrator who has been active in the world of commercial art for about 40 years, Harumi Yamaguchi is creating innovative works for magazines, theaters, cosmetics, and other industries. Her illustrations of women in the 1970s were used in commercial posters for department stores. and fashion buildings and her influence has been so great that the term "Harumi Gals" was born. Harumi Yamaguchi was the first artist to be selected for the "ART MEATS LIFE" theme for the renewal of commercial facilities on March 3, 2011, as part of a building-wide art project. The collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto is still present as one of her recent works.
