INDIAN BLOCK PRINT FLOWER PATTERN ONE TUCK DRAW STRING PANTS

These easy wide pants have an artisanal texture that cannot be achieved by today's mass production, which is created by Indian fabrics with block printing, a traditional Indian dyeing technique that includes blotting, blurring, and uneven colors throughout the entire piece.
They have military-like details, but without side pockets, and are completed with drawstrings at the waist and hems.
The tapered silhouette with one tuck at the front and moderate volume is a detail making them possible to be worn with or without the hem strap.
The thick belt loops and figure-eight flap pockets on the back incorporate Euro-military elements, while the D-can integrated with the belt loops is convenient for keys and wallet chains.
The military style is reconstructed into a completely new genre of design with the addition of oriental elements in a plant pattern, offering new possibilities for outfits.
Matches well with plain and patterned tops.

ABOUT BLOCK PRINTING
Block printing is a traditional Indian craft in which ink is pressed onto fabric using hand-carved teak woodblocks. Natural herbal dyes made from plants and other natural minerals are used for pigments.
Block printing has an extremely long history in India, and can only be done by hand. Motifs of flowers, nuts, animals, etc. are stamped over and over again to make up the pattern, with each layer a slightly different color to the last.

Due to the handmade nature of Indian block printing, you may be able to spot minor flaws such as patterns that have not been lined up perfectly. However, this adds a unique, artisanal nuance to the piece in a way that cannot be achieved by machines.
*Due to the natural dyes that are used, please note that uneven coloring and color loss/transfer may occur. We encourage you to embrace this as part of the ageing process of the garment.
