This 5-button jacket has a double tailored left collar with a striking, stepped design.
The patterned fabric is created using a traditional Indian technique called "block printing."
This jacket has a clean silhouette with a gently shaped waist. Lightweight and comfortable to wear, it has ample room around the shoulders to allow for unrestricted movement.
This summer jacket gives a cool impression with its silky indigo-dyed linen-rayon blend material. This fabric promises to age gracefully over time.

ABOUT BLOCK PRINTING
Block printing is a traditional Indian craft in which ink is pressed onto fabric using hand-carved teak woodblocks. Natural herbal dyes made from plants and other natural minerals are used for pigments.
Block printing has an extremely long history in India, and can only be done by hand. Motifs of flowers, nuts, animals, etc. are stamped over and over again to make up the pattern, with each layer a slightly different color to the last.

Due to the handmade nature of Indian block printing, you may be able to spot minor flaws such as patterns that have not been lined up perfectly. However, this adds a unique, artisanal nuance to the piece in a way that cannot be achieved by machines.
Due to the natural dyes that are used, please note that uneven coloring and color loss/transfer may occur. We encourage you to embrace this as part of the ageing process of the garment.
Dry cleaning or hand washing using a gentle detergent is recommended.
