WOOL/POLYESTER TROPICAL + INDIAN BLOCK-PRINTED BOTANICAL PATTERN LEFT FRONT STACKED PEAKED JACKET

Double-breasted jacket made from a smooth and lightweight wool/polyester fabric that is perfect for summer, printed with a botanical pattern created through traditional Indian block printing.
It has a relatively short length to allow whatever pants you pair it with to be fully visible.
The left front panel is double-layered. A yellow-based botanical pattern peaks out from the inside body. Depending on how the front is fastened/unfastened, you can change how much of the pattern is on show.
The wool/polyester-blend fabric is a lightweight and breathable material that is made for hot weather. Cool and refreshing to the touch, it is ideal for midsummer.
It has a roomy fit and is available in two sizes, M and L.

ABOUT BLOCK PRINTING
Block printing is a traditional Indian craft in which ink is pressed onto fabric using hand-carved teak woodblocks. Natural herbal dyes made from plants and other natural minerals are used for pigments.
Block printing has an extremely long history in India, and can only be done by hand. Motifs of flowers, nuts, animals, etc. are stamped over and over again to make up the pattern, with each layer a slightly different color to the last.

Due to the handmade nature of Indian block printing, you may be able to spot minor flaws such as patterns that have not been lined up perfectly. However, this adds a unique, artisanal nuance to the piece in a way that cannot be achieved by machines.
Please note that due to the natural dyes used, the pattern may fade slightly over time. We encourage you to embrace this as part of the natural ageing process. Dry cleaning is recommended.
