S'YTE x marquee club (TM) 1967 Tencel Viera Omnibus Printed Patch Long Shirt
Inspired by the famous Marquee Club(TM) door promotion posters, this design pays tribute to the performance of the Experience's appearance at the Marquee Club(TM) in 1967. The Tencel draped long shirt features printed fabric parts arranged randomly in a patchwork style and excess sewing threads create a used look in a YY style.
The back depicts a rare image from a flyer of Jimi Hendrix playing with his teeth and the words "sold out" add realness and impact.
Did you know?... The show that holds the record for the largest crowd to attend the Marquee Club(TM) ever is the Jimi Hendrix & Experience's debut performance. The Marquee Club(TM) usually holds 500-700 people or 1,000 at the most, but this time 1,400 people showed up for the performance. The crowd was out of oxygen and the guitars were out of tune. Many famous musicians heard about the yet unknown guitarist from the U.S. beforehand and came to see the show which would turn out to be legendary.
