S'YTE x marquee club (TM) 1968 100/2 Broad Omnibus Printed Patch Shirt
A regular collar broadcloth shirt with printed fabric randomly arranged in at patchwork design on the front and back. Threads hanging down from the seams create a distressed look.The back shows photographs taken by Dick Barnatt, a professional photographer renowned for his photography of many musicians and bands including Led Zepp. The Marquee Club(TM) was famously used for recording live albums, filming videos and music in the studio. Led Zeppelin appeared at the Marquee Club(TM) on December 10, 1968.
Although this was their official debut, they had already performed at the Marquee Club(TM) on October 18 under the name The New Yardbirds.
※ Did you know?... The Yardbirds were Jimmy Page's band at the time, and were the driving force behind the Marquee Club(TM). The band included Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, and they would later on become known as the world’s best three guitarists.
