MESH T-SHIRT

This knitwear piece has a loose, asymmetric silhouette and complex uneven mesh pattern. It was created using a technique normally used for fishing nets called "Mokume Ami" (木目編み). This is considerably more time-consuming than other knitting methods, taking three days to complete this piece. A very specific type of yarn was chosen, which was twisted tightly to prevent breakage and produce a cohesive, thick yarn.
