Under the theme of “Anti-Mode,” S’YTE’s 2026-27 Autumn/Winter Collection, inheriting the distinctive cutting and silhouettes of YOHJI YAMAMOTO INC., will be available from Thursday, September 10.
With embroidery, patchwork, traditional items, and camouflage patterns, this collection pays homage to the past while looking toward the future. By subtly shifting patterns and details and “reconstructing” the balance between them, the collection creates a distinctive new expression. While layering materials characteristic of the Autumn/Winter season, vivid colors are incorporated throughout to bring contrast to the overall look without creating a sense of heaviness.
This collection also marks the debut of footwear from S’YTE. The lineup includes two colorways of sneakers created in collaboration with MOONSTAR, as well as substantial platform leather shoes. By adding a new expression to the feet, these styles complete the distinctive S’YTE aesthetic.
Look 1
A set-up based on red Katsuragi fabric, featuring an all-over black pigment print and product washing that brings out distinctive fading and worn effects, creating a design with rich depth and character.
The base red peeks through from the layered jacket design and the hems of the pants, creating a striking contrast with black. The uneven shades and distressed effects evolve with repeated wear, developing an increasingly rich texture over time.
Look 2
A set-up crafted from the signature wool gabardine, combining supple drape with a dry, crisp texture.
Two belts crossing the front of the jacket add an element of British punk to its classic character. The pants feature a combination of suspender straps and buttons placed on the body, allowing the wearer to change the position and balance of the suspension for a variety of styling options. Against the sophisticated black backdrop, the edgy details stand out with particular impact.
Look 3
A traditional tweed set-up featuring patchwork embroidery is layered with an open-collar jacket adorned with original patches, while playful accessories add a sense of character to the look. White sneakers from the collaboration with MOONSTAR bring a light, effortless touch to the feet, balancing the weight often associated with Autumn/Winter styling.
Look 4
A classic hooded poncho crafted from fine-pile wool nylon takes center stage in this look. The blue of the knit peeking out from the cuffs adds a subtle accent of color. Wrap pants combining houndstooth and check patterns in a random arrangement feature white and gray lines as distinctive details. The combination of the accent color and the poncho’s silhouette creates a sense of effortless ease.
Look 5
A striking three-piece ensemble featuring bold white crow appliqués on substantial black fabric with a firm, structured feel. Durable yet designed to gradually conform to the body and develop character with wear, the fabric gains richness over time. A classic tailored jacket is paired with a signature stand-collar vest and balloon pants, creating a distinctly S’YTE styling with an urban mood. S’YTE’s first leather shoes complete the look, giving the overall silhouette a sharp, refined finish.
Look 7
A look centered around a motorcycle jacket that can be worn like a Napoleon jacket, featuring an eye-catching crow motif. The jacket’s structured form is combined with the substantial texture of cowhide leather to create a tough and powerful impression. The two crows depicted on the knit are made from a different fabric than the main body, creating an interplay of contrasting materials and colors.
Look 11
A set-up featuring pale, blurred flowers reminiscent of ink wash painting, accompanied by printed stitch motifs. The stand-collar blouson features multiple pockets and can be adjusted at the waist to create a dimensional silhouette. The voluminous techno pants feature a two-way design that can be worn either cinched at the hem or left loose, allowing the silhouette to be changed according to the styling.
