Ground Y is pleased to announce its collaborative collection with Mononoke: The Movie – Chapter Two: Fire Rat.

Mononoke originated from the Bakeneko episode of Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales, which aired in 2006 in the late-night anime programming block "Noitamina." The following year, it was developed into a full-fledged TV anime series, which has since remained a beloved classic for 18 years. In 2024, the highly anticipated Mononoke: The Movie – Karakasa made its theatrical debut, achieving an astonishing long-run screening fueled by overwhelming fan enthusiasm. Now, on Friday, March 14, 2025, the much-awaited sequel, Chapter Two: Fire Rat, is set for release.

This collection reimagines the mystical and enigmatic world of Mononoke through the unique perspective of Ground Y, presenting an exclusive lineup of collaboration pieces. The collection will be available starting Tuesday, March 22, at Ground Y flagship stores and the official online store, "THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO."
