Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME × ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH 2026-27 Autumn/Winter Collection will be available at Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME directly operated stores from Wednesday, July 29.
*The collection will be available at the official online store, THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO, from Saturday, August 8.

Since 2018, Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME and ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH have continued their collaborative partnership. The collection combines BACKLASH's uncompromising dedication to leather craftsmanship—where every stage of production is carried out by skilled artisans—with the signature patterns and silhouettes of Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME, reflecting the shared commitment to craftsmanship that defines both brands.

Created through Made in Japan techniques and the meticulous handwork of skilled artisans throughout every stage of production, the collection embodies a harmonious balance between the distinct identities of both brands while conveying a powerful presence.

This season's lineup features 22 items, including leather jackets, blousons, riders jackets, coats, vests, pants, as well as bags, boots, hats, caps, and wallets.

Following the collection launch, the "Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME × ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH PHOTO BOOK" will be released on Saturday, August 8.

The PHOTO BOOK features newly photographed portraits of AK69, AKIRA, Masaya Kato, Nobuaki Kaneko, and Kurodo Maki (listed in Japanese alphabetical order), each wearing pieces from the Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME × ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH collection.

Styled by ISAMU KATAYAMA and photographed by photographer and filmmaker HIRO KIMURA, the book captures the strength and atmosphere of the collection through a compelling visual narrative.

The PHOTO BOOK also includes QR codes that provide access to short films featuring each subject, allowing readers to experience the world of the collection through both photography and moving images.
