Y’s for men × STETSON 2024-25AW collaboration hats will be available at all directly managed stores nationwide from September 13th (Fri). *Pre-sale will begin on September 11th (Wed) at the Y’s for men POP UP STORE in Daimaru Sapporo and the official online store (THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO).
Y’s for men will release a new hat as part of their 2024-25AW collection in collaboration with STETSON, a traditional American hat maker.
This collaboration is based on the iconic Whippet model by STETSON. The Whippet is known for its classic silhouette and wide ribbon, and has been a beloved fedora hat made with high-quality materials for years. This special collection is born from the design philosophy of Y’s for men, which focuses on meticulous attention to detail in everything from material selection to finishing, combined with STETSON’s craftsmanship that blends tradition and innovation.
This collection takes inspiration from STETSON hats of the 1900s, faithfully recreating the windcatcher design of the era. The main body is crafted from fine rabbit fur, boasting a delicate texture and sheen, along with a smooth feel. Equipped with a polyethylene pompadour guard, it also offers practicality by protecting against hair styling product stains. In the event of stains, simply wipe with a dry cloth for easy maintenance. The leather sweatband is engraved with the Y’s for men logo, and a carrying case with a handle is included. The hat box features a special collaboration design with monochrome colors, a matte black surface, and a white logo lettering.
