Centered around the theme of “Anti-Mode,” S’YTE — inheriting the signature cutting and silhouettes of Yohji Yamamoto Inc. — collaborates with Dickies®, the iconic workwear brand that has continued crafting garments for workers around the world since its founding in 1922.
The collection launches on Thursday, June 4, and will be available at the official online store THE SHOP YOHJI YAMAMOTO, S’YTE Shibuya PARCO, WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO, Ground Y Nagoya PARCO, and Ground Y + S’YTE Sapporo PARCO.
The collection features three items that reinterpret Dickies®’ signature polyester-cotton “TC twill” fabric and classic workwear details through S’YTE’s distinctive mode-driven aesthetic. Both the jacket and wrap-pleated pants are designed with 2-way functionality, allowing for different expressions depending on styling and wear. The result is a collection that fuses the rugged spirit of workwear with the refined mood unique to S’YTE.
WORK-DETAIL JACKET WITH THREE FLAP POCKETS
Incorporating classic workwear details such as Dickies®’ signature TC twill fabric and oversized flap pockets, this long work jacket is rendered entirely in black to create S’YTE’s distinctive mood. Raising the lapel transforms the look with a sharper, more urban impression. Styled tucked into pants like a shirt or worn as outerwear, the piece offers versatile expressions depending on styling.
ASYMMETRIC FLAP POCKET TAPERED PANTS
Crafted from Dickies®’ iconic TC twill fabric, these pants balance casual utility with a mode-inspired silhouette. The balloon-shaped form, created through elasticated hems, retains the functional beauty of workwear while introducing a more refined appearance. A collaboration-exclusive logo is placed along the side, while asymmetrically positioned flap pockets add a distinctive accent.
STRAIGHT PANTS WITH A REMOVABLE WRAP PANEL
S’YTE’s signature wrap-pleated pants are reimagined using Dickies®’ classic TC twill fabric. The pleated wrap panel is detachable via buttons, allowing the silhouette to shift into a cleaner, more streamlined form when removed. Combining mode-driven design with the texture and durability rooted in workwear, the piece achieves a balanced fusion of both identities.
