Ground Y × DC Super-Villains Collection

Ground Y, a brand that explores new possibilities in fashion through genderless and ageless styles, incorporates multifaceted elements that resonate with its concepts through the distinctive lens of YOHJI YAMAMOTO INC.

In partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, Ground Y will release a collection of collaboration items focusing on iconic villains from the DC universe. An advance release will take place at the Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building 1F Promotion from Wednesday, October 14.

For this collaboration, Ground Y brings to life the dark beauty and charismatic madness embodied by characters such as The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman through its distinctive creative perspective.

The back of a leather jacket crafted from soft sheepskin features a bold, striking depiction of The Joker from the film The Dark Knight, rendered as though emerging from the surface.

A vibrant-colored matching set features an original collage graphic incorporating artwork from the Batman Classic TV Series, creating a distinctive piece exclusive to the collection.

The lineup also includes T-shirts printed with comic-inspired graphics, as well as accessories adorned with charms inspired by DC characters.

The spirit of the villains, who remain true to their own aesthetics without being bound by established values, intersects with Ground Y’s free-spirited approach that transcends age and gender, bringing out a new dimension of expression.
